BMW has now revealed both an updated Coupe and a new roadster of their I8 model.
Technically the combined power of both the petrol and electric motors now is up to 374 horsepower.
The 1.5 litre three cylinder engine remains unchanged, but the electric motor now has 12 horsepower more than before.
Acceleration from 0 – 100 km/h takes 4.4 seconds from the coupe and 4.6 for the 60 kg heavier roadster.
Top speed is limited to 250 km/h.
BMW has significantly upgraded the battery pack to allow for an increase in electric only range of close to 50 per cent. The top speed in electric drive is up from 70 to 120 km/h.
Inside you will find a similar interior, with some slight updates to the instrumentation.
Fuel consumption is 1.9 l for every 100 km and CO2 is 42 g/km.
